Description
The 2.5" DEXP 2518S3 external enclosure with a silver aluminum body is designed for installing a 2.5-inch drive equipped with a SATA connection interface. This practical accessory enables using a hard drive or SSD as an external drive without requiring installation inside a computer case. The enclosure with an integrated controller features an internal SATA interface required for connecting the drive and connects to a laptop or PC via a USB 3.0/USB 2.0 port and a USB connection cable.
A detachable USB cable that allows connecting the DEXP 2518S3 external enclosure with an installed drive to a computer is included with the accessory. The enclosure does not require a power adapter connection, as power for the drive is supplied from the computer's USB port via the cable. The enclosure can be used with computers running Microsoft Windows OS versions 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Mac OS 9.1, and higher.
