The DEKO GLE-40 laser distance meter is a measuring device that is useful during room renovation or remodeling. The device measures distances over a wide range from 5 cm to 40 m. The measurement error is minimal, not exceeding 2 mm. It is possible to store the results of two measurements. Additional functions of the distance meter include Pythagorean calculations, min/max determination, continuous distance measurement, as well as area and volume calculation.
The DEKO GLE-40 laser distance meter is equipped with a backlit display. A spirit level helps ensure measurement accuracy. The protection rating of the distance meter is IP54. A certain amount of dust can penetrate inside the device without affecting its operation. The distance meter is protected against splashes falling in any direction, meaning measurements can be taken even in the rain. The operating temperature range of the distance meter is wide, from 0 to 40 °C. The device is designed to be powered by two AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries. An automatic shut-off function is provided. The distance meter is lightweight, weighing only 90 g.
