The black Kitfort KT-1660 waffle maker is designed for baking Belgian waffles, making sandwiches, and grilling. The housing is made of plastic, and the internal removable plates feature a non-stick coating. After cooking, they can be removed and washed in a dishwasher or under running water. The waffle maker is equipped with a heat-insulated handle with a latch, allowing you to safely open and close the device during cooking. The housing itself lacks thermal insulation and can cause burns. Anti-slip feet keep the unit firmly in place on the countertop while pouring batter or closing the lid.
The KT-1660 features overheat protection and a thermostat to maintain the optimal cooking temperature. There is no readiness indicator, so the degree of browning must be monitored manually by opening the waffle maker during the process.
