A power output of 1200 W is sufficient to ensure trouble-free operation of multi-core processors and other PC components. The unit is protected against voltage spikes, current surges, overheating, and short circuits, preventing premature failure.
The Cougar POLAR X2 1200 power supply features a modular cabling system, allowing unused cables to be removed. This frees up space inside the PC case and ensures natural ventilation. The power supply comes with a 24-pin motherboard power cable, 8-pin CPU cables, graphics card cables, 12 15-pin SATA cables, and 4 4-pin Molex connectors. Semi-passive 135 mm fans with hydrodynamic bearings effectively cool the unit under heavy loads.
